Platform mirrors are available in a variety of designs suitable for most platform configurations.

The hood version is most flexible and can be fitted with a replaceable vandal resistant membrane. The bezel and peak designs are for use where clearance is limited. A plain frame version is also available for the smaller units and this is very suitable for light rail use.

For ease of maintenance further options can be supplied:

Cassette Mirror
The mirror and heaters are fitted in a rigid aluminium frame which can be withdrawn from the housing via a slot in the lower edge. This permits rapid replacement of the mirror on site.




Hinged Mount
Where access is restricted the housing can be hinged at the top to allow easier removal of the cassette especially when the housing is mounted near the ground.




Direct Mount
In this version the mirror cassette can be fitted straight into the housing. This option is available for hooded units without a membrane.





Custom Housings
Mirror Technology can make custom designs to suit special requirements such as stations incorporating individual design characteristics.
